Remedy Spa at Pelican Bay was established August 16, 2010. The inspiration for the name “Remedy” comes from owner, Tim’s, fish. One of Tim’s massage therapy clients was telling him about a massage she had while in Thailand, and how the floor of the massage room was a fish tank. She said it was very relaxing to see the fish swimming while she was in the face cradle receiving her massage. Tim took these thoughts with him and thought of how he could simulate a fish tank floor right here in Daytona Beach. He bought a small bowl and a beta fish, and put him under the face cradle in his massage room.  Remedy has been stimulating Tim’s clients with his fluid strokes back and forth under the face cradle ever since. Once Remedy Spa officially opened, Remedy was moved to his own personal fish tank, welcoming you in when you join us. As a thank you and dedication to Remedy, Tim and Michele have named the spa Remedy Spa at Pelican Bay.

We look forward to the future of Remedy Spa, and are always searching for the healthiest, safest, and best products to enhance your treatments and enrich your experience. We thank you for the many years of business and hope to see you at the spa very soon.
